28 Apr Huon Hook Wine Reviews
Huon Hook, one of Australia’s leading wine reviewers, writes for publications such as Decanter, Gourmet Traveller Wine, and the Syndey Morning Herald.
He’s a tough critic, so we were wrapped to have recently received the below two reviews.
MV Shiraz 2016 – 91 Points
Deep, rich red-purple colour with a rich, oaky, savory, traditional style bouquet – high ripeness and fairly high alcohol, plus plenty of oak. Full-body, good concentration and amplitude: a big generous shiraz style.
AAA Shiraz Grenache 2016 – 90 Points
Attractive bouquet of subtle spice aromas, clean and fresh and balanced, the palate likewise easily accessible and balanced for early drinking. The wine is
medium to full-bodied and rounded with soft tannins and immediately enjoyable savoury complexities.
