Shiraz 48%, Grenache 48%, Mataro 4%. 12 months in french oak. Colour: Dusty road. Aroma: Ripe red cherries, cranberries, and forest strawberries, notes of sage, thyme, and a touch of dried bay leaf. Hints of star anise, balsamic undertones, and earthy forest floor, cacao nib and cedar. Palate: Juicy red and bramble fruits from the Shiraz, and a bright, spicy core from the Grenache. Mataro adds savoury, smoky notes and fine-grained tannins. Cellar: 10 years plus.
