Small crops and moderate temperatures resulted in an early start and short harvest period. Cool nights and balanced vine canopies helped maintain natural acidity with exceptional flavor development

Rich, juicy fruit with hints of licorice, dark chocolate and a thread of vanillin oak. Mouth filling, yet lingering, elegant flavours
Enjoy young upon release, but cellaring for 5-10 years from vintage will be rewarded. The screw-cap closure will ensure extended longevity and freshness
Numerous individual parcels from each vineyard were blended. The majority were de-stemmed with a portion of whole bunches. They were then transferred to individual open fermenters, where a regime of pumping over, plunging and rack and returns was undertaken. After fermentation, the wine remained on skins until it had developed the complexity required. It was oak matured for an average of 12 months in a mix of new and old French and American oak
