Paxton’s Cellar Door is conveniently located at the gateway to McLaren Vale. Housed in the original 1850’s shearing shed, the Cellar Door is surrounded by luscious sprawling lawns and oozes both charm and character with historic stone buildings dotted around the site.
Cellar Door offers visitors a relaxed tasting experience with a strong focus on our unique Organic and Biodynamic philosophy. Delight your taste buds and build your own regional platter, sit back and chill with glass of wine and enjoy our stunning views.
Cellar Door is open 7 days a week from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
Tastings are available daily, walk-ins welcome.
Wine tasting experiences for groups of 8-40 people can be accommodated – bookings essential.

TillyBelle’s Bar is a relaxed bar surrounded by lush lawns, an enclosed rustic shed providing shelter from the elements and gorgeous shady trees.
On weekends, enjoy hand-stretched gourmet pizzas and wood-fired snacks from Rocc Up Pizza, available every Saturday and Sunday from 12–3pm. The bar and food offering are also available Friday nights from 5–9pm during daylight saving.
