A family-friendly winery day out at the gateway to McLaren Vale, just 45 minutes south of Adelaide. Grab a spot on our lush lawns at the historic Landcross Farm and enjoy:
- Wood-fired pizzas & snacks — Saturdays and Sundays, 12–3pm, by Rocc Up Pizza (from the first weekend in September)
- Organic and biodynamic Paxton wines
- Local beers, 23rd St Distillery mixed drinks, soft drinks and juices — all from our Bar on the lawns
- Good tunes, relaxed vibes
Whether it’s a catch-up with friends or a family outing, Paxton is the perfect spot to sit back with good food, great wine and views to match. Planning a celebration? We welcome large group bookings.
Our Cellar Door is open daily, 10am–5pm, with tasting flights, local cheeses and regional nibbles.
Good to know:
- 🐾 Dog-friendly — well-behaved pooches on leads always welcome
- 🧺 Outdoor seating is limited, so bring a picnic rug or chairs — or head into our rustic shed for undercover seating on cooler days
- 🚫 No BYO food or alcohol
- 🏐 No ball games — but lawn games are welcome and encouraged
